BREAKING: Baba Ọba of Oyotunji Village Dies Suddenly Amid Controversy with New Alaafin of Oyo(GOV. SEYI MAKINDE)

  Shockwaves are reverberating across Yorùbáland and the global Yorùbá diaspora following the sudden death of the Baba Ọba (King’s Father) of the famed Oyotunji African Village in South Carolina, USA. The late Baba Ọba, Lukman Arohunfale, a revered socialite and traditionalist, passed away under circumstances already sparking fierce controversy. His death comes just days after he publicly accused the newly installed Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty Oba Akeem Adéyẹmọ Owoade, of allegedly ordering his courtiers to beat him mercilessly during a recent courtesy visit to the Oyo palace in Nigeria. In a widely circulated voice recording, the deceased recounted how what was meant to be a simple homage turned violent. Just a few years before Nigeria got her independence, a Nigerian couple were captured in London having a grand wedding and proudly displaying their culture. In a viral video clip, which has been said to be the wedding of Christie Bola and Matthew Daniel, the couple can be seen dancing and merry with many Nigerians present as they tied the knot traditionally in London. The clip was shared by Whatsupibadan on Instagram and it shows the glorious moment two lovers united in the presence of family and friends to become one. What is most interesting is how the couple and their guests displayed the beauty of the Yoruba culture, ignoring their location. Meanwhile, in what appears to be beautifully twisted fate, Annet Nakabonye, a 28-year-old Ugandan lady was all smiles during her introduction ceremony as she recalled how she met her man by chance. According to Mywedding, the business lady first laid her eyes on her man in a taxi. By a stroke of fate, her man Jacob Luwo who was still a stranger in 2012 did not carry his wallet. The two had boarded the same vehicle and Annet chose to do the noblest thing pay the stranger’s fare. Little did she know the clock had already started ticking in anticipation of her happily ever after.

Teenager commits suicide on livestream and his mother walked in on the heartbreaking scene (video)

A mother has been left devastated after her son committed suicide on  livestream  and she walked in to see his dead body. The 18-year-old Canadian teenager filmed his suicide for his followers to watch. He had a bandana covering his nose and mouth as he got ready to take his life. He had written a suicide note and he slid it out of the room, together with the key to the room he was in, through the space beneath the door. When he was done with this, he put a gun to his head and killed himself.
