FG shortlists 47 directors for five permanent secretary slots

 


A total of 47 directors have been shortlisted to sit for a written examination to fill five vacant permanent secretary positions in the federal civil service.

The examination holds May 31, 2021.

The shortlisted candidates were selected from the 51 candidates who had faced a selection panel.

The spokesperson in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Abdulganiyu Aminu, on Saturday in Abuja disclosed that the candidates were contesting the positions of retired permanent secretaries and those retiring this year in five states of the federation.

The affected states are Ekiti, Katsina, Nasarawa, Enugu, and Lagos.

Aminu further stated that the screening of the candidates was conducted transparently under the monitoring of agencies like the Department of State Services, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offences Commission, and other related agencies.

The chairman of the screening committee, who is also the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Transportation, Madgalene Ajani, was assisted by the Permanent Secretary of the Career Management Office in the OHCSF, Alhaji Mamman Mahmuda.
