Former presidential candidate and publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoyele Sowore has been reportedly shot by a police operative in Abuja.
Naija News gathered Sowore was shot on Monday by a female police officer at the Unity Fountain in Abuja.
The politician cum activist has been rushed to hospital for medical treatment, Naija News understands.
Lawyer, Inibehe Effiong, made this known on Twiter.
He wrote: “@YeleSowore has just been shot by a female police officer at the Unity Fountain in Abuja.”
