Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola who has been under heavy criticisms for supporting the National leader of the All Progressive Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has urged netizens to leave her alone.
Esabod global News earlier reported that Foluke Daramola and many other Nollywood practitioners were seen in a viral video singing and dancing with Tinubu’s name.
This angered Nigerians as they dragged the Nollywood stars for betraying the masses with such an act stating they are all after their pocket to the detriment of what happens to others.
Reacting to this, Foluke Daramola, in a video shared on her page, said the event was not a political campaign nor a Nollywood event.
Foluke Daramola said they advocated for peace and unity in Nigeria and did not endorse Bola Tinubu for president.
Foluke Daramola added that she’s a keen member of the All Progressive Congress party, but she’s not supporting Tinubu; hence people should stop speculating rumours.
Irrespective of the video shared on her page, Foluke Daramola has continued to receive backlash from people and has disabled her Instagram comment section.
Foluke Daramola took to her Instagram page to share a video showing when she met with a die-hard fan of hers showering praises on her for being an outstanding actress.
Captioning the video, Foluke Daramola urged netizens to leave her alone and get a PVC so they could get a voice in the general election.
