“Your Resemblance Is Something Else” Nse Ikpe Etim’s 70th Birthday Message To Onyeka Onwenu Gets Fans Talking

Veteran entertainer Onyeka Onwenu is 70 today and her younger colleague has showered the most beautiful words on her.

Sharing photos of them on Instagram moments ago, Nse Ipe Etim wrote “Dear Aunty @onyekaonwenu, today as you turn 70, may you find yourself surrounded by the love you give everyday. And as you look back at the years well lived, may you remember the joy and laughter you’ve given us all.

Happy Birthday. God bless you now and always. Amen. #MyFathersDaughter#ElegantStallion
#LoveAndLight59″

Interestingly many of her fan have pin pointed a striking resemblance between them.

One Oye wrote “Oh my days, I see the resemblance. Happy birthday ma. More wins in Jesus name”

One Mfon wrote “Damn! You could pass for sisters. Your smile are so alike. …happy birthday to the legend herself.”

One Tinu wrote “Your resemblance is something else!”

Onyeka Onwenu is a Nigerian singer/songwriter, actress, human right activist, social activist, journalist, politician, and former X Factor series judge. Dubbed the “Elegant Stallion” by the Nigerian press, she is a former chairperson of the Imo State Council for Arts and Culture.

Onwenu hails from Arondizuogu, a small town in Ideato North, Imo State, and was raised in Port Harcourt. She is the youngest daughter of Nigerian educationist and politician D. K. Onwenu, who died when she was four years old in an autocrash a week before his appointment as Minister for Education leaving his widow, Hope, to raise five children alone after her husband’s family denied her access to his property.

Onwenu notably keeps her personal life private, often refusing to disclose private information regarding her husband, a Yoruba Muslim. She is the mother of two children – Tijani Charles and Abraham.
