Omo Ghetto The Saga bags 9 nominations at AMVCA 2022

Esabod Global news recalls Funke Akindele beat her colleague Toyin Abraham with her latest achievement in the movie industry.

Apart from earning Africa’s highest-grossing film of 2020/2021, ‘Omoghetto The Saga’ has become the most-watched Naija title on the Netflix streaming platform.

Funke Akindele’s husband, JJC Skillz, took to his Instagram page to share the good news, which has left fans and casts of the movie jubilating on social media.

Reacting, Alex Ekubo said ‘Omoghetto The Saga‘ is one of the movies he’s proud to be part of which has continued to break records home and abroad from being the highest-grossing Nollywood movie of all time to raking in billions of Naira.

Also reacting, Zubby Micheal, in a post shared on his Instagram page, said they have taken over Netflix, and their next stop is Hollywood

Teenager commits suicide on livestream and his mother walked in on the heartbreaking scene (video)

A mother has been left devastated after her son committed suicide on  livestream  and she walked in to see his dead body. The 18-year-old Canadian teenager filmed his suicide for his followers to watch. He had a bandana covering his nose and mouth as he got ready to take his life. He had written a suicide note and he slid it out of the room, together with the key to the room he was in, through the space beneath the door. When he was done with this, he put a gun to his head and killed himself.
