Kogi First Lady, Rashida Yahaya Bello Gives Out N1M To Her Aides Months After Giving Out Cars (Photos And Video)
Kogi State first lady, Rashida Yahaya Bello has melted the hearts of many as she gave out N1m each to her security aides.
The Kogi First lady who is known for her philanthropical acts was seen in a viral video dishing out 1million naira each to her overjoyed security aides and domestic workers.
Yahaya did this to appreciate them for their selfless service towards their works.
This humanitarian acts is coming months after she gave some of her aides’ cars.
To add to it, the first lady gave out cash, gift items as well as vacation trips.
Esabod Global news recalls Rashida Bello had sparked divorce rumours when it was alleged that the first lady had moved out of the government house.
According to reports, the duo had been at loggerheads for over three months due to the governor’s alleged affair with the ADC, Ms Ifeoma Akaya.
Governor Bello was the first governor in Nigeria to have appointed a female ADC, Ms Ifeoma Akaya.
The development did not sit well with the governor’s wife and seemed to be a significant disadvantage.
Sources also disclosed that Yahaya Bello allegedly placed his wife “The First Lady“ on house arrest and sacked her orderly, including all her Aides.
This generated reactions on social media as some people expressed shock over the news.
However, Kogi State Government had labelled the report as “malicious”
Chief press secretary to the governor Onogwu Muhammed made this known in a statement on Monday.
Mr Mohammed, who described the publication as a “mere piece of mischievous antics given life by idle, disgruntled and undesirable elements,” added that the governor was in complete control of his household.
“For lack of formidable tool of distractions, the online medium struggling hard for traffic has come out with a concocted falsehood alleging a crack in the household of Gov. Yahaya Bello,” he further said.
“The said publication laced with lies and crooked fallacy detailed how the First Lady, Hajia Rashida Bello, has moved out of the Government House in what the merchants of mischief painted as a revolt against the governor.
“This reaction is coming out not in reverence of the amorphous medium but a call to the general public to disregard as tissue of lie the malicious fabrication.”
Mohammed added that rather than resorting to such satanic antics, the medium and the sponsors should have taken on the governor’s development agenda. He maintained that there was no crack whatsoever in the home and government of Bello, urging the general public to discard the information.
