Mixed Reactions As Mercy Johnson Attends Husband’s Party With Natural Look (Photos

Mercy Johnson’s natural appearance to the private and intimate party that was thrown to mark her husband’s birthday over the wekend, has sparked mixed reactions.

Although the party wasn’t a flamboyant one and had just family friends in attendance to celebrate her husband, Prince Okojie’s birthday, some fans feel the actress should have appeared better, rather than choosing to settle for a ‘simple unfashionable house wife like’ appearance.

One social media user, Teniola wrote “Celebs should never be caught looking unfresh, why is Mercy Johnson looking a maid?”

While one Josephine wrote “Mercy haba u no try with your natural look o”

Esabod Global News reports that the actress showed up in a casual blue shirt dress and corn row hair style with a plain natural face.

Sharing photos from the occasion, the birthday celebrant, Prince Okojie wrote “My profound gratitude to God Almighty for yet another day like this. His mercies and grace are indeed too benevolent for us all. I am in awe of the massive show of love and affection from you all my family members, friends, followers and well wishers. I sincerely cannot thank you all enough.

The roll call is lengthy, the unending goodwill messages still keeps pouring in even as I pen this message of thanksgiving to my Creator and to you all special people of God, I am overwhelmed and cannot really express how grateful I am.

On behalf of my humble self and beautiful wife, @mercyjohnsonokojie Mrs Mercy Johnson Okojie, I want to thank you all once again for your prayers, goodwill messages and your kind words of love and accolades. It is my earnest prayers that as you took out time to celebrate me, may celebration and glad tidings never depart from your lives. May the joy and happiness that I feel right now quadruple in your homes and establishments.

Thank you all once again as we hope and pray for many more years of felicitations and celebrations to come.”
