In an interview with Punch Newspaper, he revealed that he never tried to reach out to Funke Akindele because he didn’t have her number and he was never close to her. His sister, however, had her number and had tried to reach out to her and had even sent Paschaline Alex to her, but all her efforts were futile.

Speaking of his late sister, he described her as an introvert who usually kept to herself. He disclosed that his sister was never sick but just passed away in her sleep. Before her death, she was planning to relocate to the United Kingdom.

Adeola added that she has since been buried but the family is planning to organize a tribute event in church on the 40th day after her death.

“I did not reach out to Funke Akindele because I didn’t have her phone number and I am not close to her but my sister had her number and even sent another actress, Paschaline Alex to her, all to no avail. Funke stopped calling her for jobs and Jumoke tried to know why because she wanted to retrace her steps if she had committed any offense. Only two of her colleagues, Rita Dominic and Tayo Sobola came through for her in her time of need. She was an introvert and usually kept to herself. She was not sick. She just passed away in her sleep. She was planning on relocating to the United Kingdom before her demise. We have buried her but the family will organize a tribute event in church on the 40th day after her de*th”.

Recall that Adeola had dragged Funke for abandoning his late sister. Adeola had tackled Funke for publicly mourning her when she had abandoned his sister during her dying moments.

Calling her out over her fake love and hypocrisy, he revealed that his sister had put a call through to Funke several times and had reached out to her through her friends but she didn’t turn up for her. Questioning why the eye service, he added that it is now she is dead, she was showing fake love.

Reacting to his claims, Funke took to her Instagram Live to break down in tears as she noted how she lost her mother, marriage, and politics and is trying to get her life back together. She stated that she saw Jumoke’s brother post that she abandoned the actress, which was untrue, as she never knew Jumoke was sick.
