Nigerian influencer and relationship advisor, Blessing CEO has warned women never to get married to a man whose parents do not approve of their union.
The founder of Breakup or Makeup platform, gave the advise while weighing in on actress and TV presenter, Wofai Fada’s marriage saga.
Esabod Global News reports that Wofai released some wedding photos with hubby Taiwo Cole over the weekend and his father-in-law claimed not to be aware of the marriage.
Reacting to the news that they held their traditional and white wedding without the family;s full consent, Blessing said it is best for her not to marry into a family whose parents do not like her.
In a video shared online, self acclaimed relationship expert warned that such mistake of marrying into a family whose father or mother doesn’t like the lady should never be made.
Blessing CEO noted how important it is for the family to be part of a marriage as this isn’t the western world where individuality takes precedence.
She posed a question to Wofai Fada asking her where or to whom she intends to run to when things begin to get rough in the marriage.
Blessing captioned her clip: “Never you marry a man if his family does not like you. Wofifad just got engaged and first time in my life , I was seeing disclaimer from extended family 😫☺️🧙😱 this one shock me.. here is Share my option … ladies draw your ears.”
