Actor Chidi Mokeme has reacted to news of President Tinubu ordering the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, to provide security for engineers fixing the damaged transmission lines in the North.
States in Northern Nigeria have been thrown into darkness for over a week now following the vandalization of two towers along the 330kV Shiroro–Kaduna transmission lines 1 and 2. On Monday, October 28, President Tinubu ordered the NSA to ordered the National Security Adviser (NSA) Nuhu Ribadu “to work with the Army and Air Force to deploy adequate security personnel, including aerial cover, to protect the engineers who are fixing the damaged transmission line”.
Reacting to the order via his X handle, Mokeme said it is a shame that an order has to be given for the NSA to protect engineers fixing a damaged infrastructure
