Nigerian businessman Cubana Chief Priest has made a promise to his best friend and singer, Davido, as he marks his 32nd birthday today.
Taking to his Instagram page, he shared photos of him and the singer from his traditional wedding back in June, as he promised to be there for him for life. Calling Davido his best friend, he stated that people will continue to be envious of him because he was born into a wealthy home and is still making money for himself through his talent.
Cubana prayed that Davido would continue to be the best amongst his peers as he promised to go all out for him for his white wedding in 2025.

In October, Cubana had expressed excitement at being a member of 30BG after the testimony from Davido’s father about his new power plant. Cubana expressed pride in his accomplishments which he claimed left him with sleepless nights.
In August, Cubana had given Davido a tour of his eatery. In one of his several posts, Cubana shared photos of him and Davido, hailing him as his in-law.
Cubana calling Davido his in-law wasn’t surprising as he is undoubtedly one of the biggest fans and supporters of Davido and his wife, Chioma, who hails from his state, Imo.
Recall that when Davido and Chioma reconciled in 2022, Cubana was overjoyed as he took to social media to pray for the couple to welcome another child. While hailing Chioma, Chief Priest dissed Sophia Momodu, the singer’s first baby mama, noting how Davido and Chioma’s relationship is ‘sweeting’ some people and “paining” others.
Days before their June wedding, Cubana had thanked Davido for not discarding his sister, and Davido had stated that he could never.
In July, Chief Priest affirmed his love and loyalty to Davido by letting him know that he loves him with every air he breathes.
His statement didn’t sit well with controversial actor Uche Maduagwu, who questioned if Chief Priest would still love Davido if he weren’t a billionaire. He stated that the businessman has zero understanding of love and wondered why Chief Priest didn’t advise Davido over his lawsuit with his first babymama, Sophia Momodu and why he did his wedding in Lagos rather than Chioma’s state, Imo.
