Nollywood actress Laide Bakare is officially a Doctorate degree holder

Esabod Global News reported last month that Laide had added another feat to her numerous achievements as she bagged a Doctorate Degree. The mother of three revealed that she had been given an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Arts & Humanities from the American University of Peace and Governance, USA.

Now, taking to her Instagram page, Laide announced that it is official for people to address her as a Dr. Sharing photos from the ceremony, she said the degree is geared towards her dedication to Governance, leadership and service to humanity.

“It is now official to be addressed as Hon. (Dr.) Laide Bakare.
This honor bestowed on me as a Doctor Of Arts & humanities (Honoris Causa) by the American University of Peace and Governance, USA (www.aupgedu.us) is a motivation geared towards dedication to Governance, leadership and service to humanity.
I am using this medium to appreciate His Excellency, Amb. Dr Jonathan Ojadah @jonathanjodela Chairman of the Supreme Council of American University of Peace and Governance, USA
I am dedicating this honor in appreciation to my creator, friends, family and fans all over the world. It has been a winning year for Laide as in February, Laide bagged an appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.

Speaking out, Laide announced that it was a new dawn for her as the appointment had kick-started her journey into politics. Calling herself honourable, she appreciated the Governor for trusting her and allowing her to serve as she pledged to the people of Osun State.

Teenager commits suicide on livestream and his mother walked in on the heartbreaking scene (video)

A mother has been left devastated after her son committed suicide on  livestream  and she walked in to see his dead body. The 18-year-old Canadian teenager filmed his suicide for his followers to watch. He had a bandana covering his nose and mouth as he got ready to take his life. He had written a suicide note and he slid it out of the room, together with the key to the room he was in, through the space beneath the door. When he was done with this, he put a gun to his head and killed himself.
