Nigerian controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, better known as Portable, has confronted actor Odunlade Adekola over a viral video of him and his baby mama, Ashabi.
In a video posted on Odunlade’s Instagram page, he was captured in a warm embrace with Ashabi as he inquired if she told Portable before hugging him.
“Hope you told Portable you want to hold me? Tell him you want to hold me”.
Offended by his statement, Portable slid into Odunlade’s DM to confront him as he questioned what he implied by such a statement. Portable noted how everyone loves to tag him as a troublesome person when he is loyal.
Urging the actor to speak well of him, he made him know that he doesn’t use his home to play or make movies.
“Wetin you talk inside that video with Ashabi Simple. Pls, I respect my home; I no dey use am do movie. Why you go talk sey shey she tell me before coming. Shey una no dey collect money for her hand ni?
I respect that why I come to your DM. I no dey use my home play. Why you go talk like that? Na today I dey see una?”.
“But why everybody dey talk say I get wahala. Make una dey talk good about me. Me sef, I dey loyal o. Loyalty pass juju”.
Odunlade replied to him, expressing his love for the singer and stating that he could never disrespect the singer’s home.

I love you and I think you know that. I can never disrespect your home or disrespect you.

Responding to him, Portable appreciated him for his response and prayed for him.

The relationship between Portable and Ashabi has been tumultuous over the past two years, since they went public with their love amid the singer’s marriage, however, the lovebirds continue to settle their fights and stick together.
To mark the New Year, Ashabi appreciated the singer for being part of her year again and for his care. Calling him her blessing in disguise, she expressed her love for him as she stated that though they fight, they would always fix things and stay together.
For her birthday this year, Portable had joined her in celebrating her day as he described her as his queen, appreciated her for believing in him, and prayed for God to bless her.
A week back, the Yoruba actress questioned if any other man could make her feel happy like he does, as she noted how, though they fight and have flops, he is still the best. The mother of two appreciated him for his love, care, and concern and declared that she wants to love the singer more and forever.
In an Instagram post, Ashabi had given an update on her relationship while reintroducing herself. She made it known that she is engaged with a man of choice and she loves him so much.
