My dad named me after his secondary school sweetheart - Nigerian lady reveals

A Nigerian lady, Ngozi Janet Akalonu, has revealed that her father named her after his high school sweetheart.

 

“You know, my dad named me after his secondary school sweetheart. He told me himself and made me promise never to tell my mother. I don’t think my mama would have cared anyway, she was a wildfire in high school too," she wrote in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
