A Canada-based Nigerian woman, Nkechi Bianze, has said that 99% of stories about women divorcing their husbands after being brought abroad, are false.
Over the years, there have been stories about Nigerian women reporting their husbands to the police, using legal loopholes to have them ejected from their homes and taking over properties.
“Every now and then, we see MEN and a few pickme women fabricating stories about women abroad who divorced their innocent husbands,” the mother of two wrote in a Facebook post on Tuesday.
As in, these dundies sell us stories of how these men were perfect husbands who brought their wives abroad, but their wives divorced them and even took everything and sent them back home.
"I have stayed abroad for years and I know that 99% of these stories are FALSE.
