This brouhaha has been in the public domain for years now. I had been so quiet and love the peace that my silence brought to me.
Unfortunately, this silence has to be broken because my reputation is now involved.
Also, Imule-Ore (friendship fraternity) is also involved and I won't betray that too.
The subject of this matter, Ibukunoluwa Elizabeth Yenekume Anjorin now (Alhaja Aisha Anjorin-Lawal) is a long-time friend of mine.
We worked together for many years as Artiste/Manager relationship. At the peak of our working relationship, I combined many skills to serve her as my Principal and these include; being a manager, publicist, personal assistant, friend and on many occasions, a driver.
Also, I acted as a BIG brother to her because of a little age difference to my advantage.
This gave me the opportunity to see her up-close and personal.
So, I am not surprised each time I receive numerous calls about her from friends and colleagues in the media calling my attention to her excesses .
Many with good intentions want me to call her to order each time she go nuts online.
Most of the time, these calls get irritating because I have my own life to face.
However, in this write-up, I will try to answer as many questions both asked in secret and in open about the so-called controversial Liz Anjorin.
My journey with Liz Anjorin started about 16years ago.
I was a young journalist working with my Boss @Femi Adepoju at the First Weekly Magazine. This should be around 2008.
I was on the entertainment desk of that Soft Sell Magazine alongside another prolific writer, @Wale Onifade.
Wale was handling the music aspect while I was handling the movie pages.
Late that year, a story had broken out in the National Dailies and softsell magazines about a Nollywood actress who stole a car, arrested and answering questions with the Police.
My editor, Malik Ibitoye, called me and asked me to go after the story and give a different angle to what has been reported.
That was the style of journalism then. Things go viral now because quack journalists copy and paste what others had reported.
The magazine, true to its name, was always the first News magazine to hit newsstand everyweek.
Our deadline for production is usually Fridays. The assignment from my Editor came on a Thursday.
Within a few minutes, I was on the call with Liz Anjorin and she told me to meet her at a movie location along meran road in Lagos.
I didn't have a car at the time but I managed to arrive on time and I met Liz for the first time in my life.
I had an interview with her on the spot asking all the controversial questions that will satisfy my ever demanding Editor, Malik Ibitoye.
By early Monday, lovers of celebrity journals already heard directly for the first time from the victim of theft allegation.
She (Liz), who was already at loggerheads with many publishers who didn't contact her before publishing stories of theft, was so impressed by my effort to reach her and gave her a voice.
The rest, as they say, remains history as both of us since that incident became inseparable.
Somehow, I became her media manager and publicist.
Many things and almost everything has to go through me before reaching her, mostly media interactions and interviews and engagements.
I became more like a resident in her home. At this time, she had an apartment in Ikorodu area of Lagos and after a few months of meeting her, she relocated to Obawonle area of Ogba in Ifako-Ijaye LG.
Her movement to the Islands of lagos was from that mainland part of Lagos.
Like I said earlier, I will do my best to enlighten the people, most especially fans, friends, and foes of Liz Anjorin and this will also set the records straight and shed more lights on most controversial debates about her person and personality.
In this piece that I will unfold based on my own eyewitness accounts, friends of Liz or may be her 'Warriors' and even Ibukun (Liz) as I like to call her, will be offended. I won't care because, in any controversial issue, the truth stays at the right side and false or lies on the left. Justice has its own place at the middle.
My revelation about Liz Anjorin will attempt to touch or reach every part of her life, as seen closely by me for nearly 10 years.
They will include the good, the bad, and the ugly. I will also not save for public consumption some of the good, better, and best side of her personality.
For example, in my entire life, I am yet to see another female personality who is more industrious than Ibukun (Liz). Whatever the colour or shape of what brings her cash, she goes for it day and nights, losing sleep in the process.
Also, I don't think I had met or seen another person who is so cunning and manipulative as her. She has the capacity to paint a single scenario in different colours depending on which suits her purpose at a given time.
All these Truths against lies will unfold in episodes, and people will know how it all started with Iyabo Ojo fight, Mr. Lawal marriage, Arike's mission in Lagos, who is Rotimi and Florida's mother???, and the men before Mr. Lawal.
Some claimed Liz must be Akudaya since no relative has been traced to her. I will talk about the father, mother, and her relatives living or dead.
I am hoping this will answer as many questions as possible about Liz Anjorin.
After these episodes, I am making orders for fresh 'Epe Ijebu' .anyone who calls me to speak to Liz Anjorin will have a share of the Ijebu curses.
Watch out for Part 2
Ire o!!!
