Yesterday, the 18th Lagos State Annual Thanksgiving Service held at the State House, an unbroken tradition since 2000,
It had in attendance the state governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, RCCG General overseer Pastor Adeboye and his wife as well as other top members of the state executive.
At the service, Governor Ambode said, 'In our usual tradition, we gather today, the first Sunday of the Year, in thanksgiving and praise to God Almighty. It is my prayer that as we come to His Gates and Courts with thanksgiving and with praises, He will release His blessings upon us. Our God will never fail us. He has never failed us and because of this we are entering the New Year with confidence and positive expectations'.
