After the Wedding Ceremony of Priscy, VDM made a video stating that he would never insult or engage in any tussle with Iyabo Ojo again. It seemed they finally settled. When I watched the video, I laughed out loud because I know VDM apart from being vindictive by nature, also acts on impulse...and I also notice that he is an envious person with the way he publicly jab his Acquaintances. Na him go dey hail Davido whenever Davido acknowledges him, na him go still dey call David out when he thinks he is being ignored by Davido. Popular comedian Ayo Makun shares the secret of his success as a comedian, actor and a movie producer – The stand up comedian who is popular for his AY Live comedy show has recorded many successful shows Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Ayo Makun Comedian Ayo Makun has revealed the reasons
behind his double success as a stand-up comedian and filmmaker in Nigeria. After establishing himself as one of the most sought-after stand-up comedians, AY has no doubt proved his mettle as one of the most respected filmmakers in Nigeria with the sheer success of 30 Days in Atlanta and Inspector AY. In a chat with Naij.com, AY said his success as the producer of AY Live comedy show and subsequently as an outstanding movie producer can be traced to his background as a theatre arts graduate of Delta State University. AY hinted: “While in school, I directed some productions, which earned me laurels. I applied all those directorial and theatre skills to the AY Live show and that is why it is a success. My grooming in modern stage presentation is also one of the secrets of my success.” He however lamented that stage presentations are nose-diving in Nigeria because the practitioners have failed to advance with technology and publicity: “For instance, they still believe in the old culture that stage actors should not use microphone. Meanwhile, you must be quite audible to entertain your audience, particularly in a big auditorium. If not, they will lose interest.”
AY added that his AY Live comedy show is a success because of the many elements of theatre he introduced to it, including good publicity and top notch packaging.
