Maxwell, a building contractor was stopped by the officers as he was exiting a fuel station with a keg of petrol. He was searched and when they found nothing on him, the officers searched his phone and concluded he was a "Yahoo" boy.

BBI PRESS RELEASE
BBI FOILED F-SARS PLANNED EXTORTION IN ASABA, DELTA STATE.
REFUSED TO COLLECT N10,000 FROM VICTIM.
Barely six days BBI facilitated the arrest of six F-SARS operatives for extortion and Official Curruption in Warri, yesterday, at about 1:45pm, our intelligence team led by Director General Behind Bars Harrison Gwamnishu stopped Seven SARS Operatives from forcefully obtaining N10,000 from one Mr. Maxwell, a building contractor.
Maxwell was first dropped at Fidelity bank Okpanam road to make use of the ATM but due to the network problem, they proceeded to Zenith Bank Okpanam Road road by DBS Junction.
BBI director was making use of the ATM when he saw the SARS operative drop Maxwell. Maxwell countenance showed he was under duress and the DG asked to know what was wrong with him.
First, he was scared to say anything untill DG showed him his ID card and he opened up.
"Maxwell was coming out from NNPC fuel station carrying four liters of fuel when he was stopped by F-SARS. He was searched, nothing found on him and they insisted in searching his phone which he gave them. The operatives saw a video of a white man holding a POS machine. That video became evidence that Maxwell is a 'Yahoo Boy'. They took statement from him inside the Mazda space bus and told him he is a Fraudster and they will detain him'.
They drove him round the town and negotiated for his release. From N300,000, N50,000, they agreed to collect N10,000 from Maxwell'.
After Maxwell made the withdrawal, our DG followed him to handover the N10,000. For the safety of our DG, he played safe by telling them, "if Maxwell committed a crime, ATM machine is not a Police Station."
They drove Maxwell and detained him at GRA Divisional Police station. Behind Bars Intervention Team hurriedly arrived at the station, put a call across to their superior and Maxwell was released.
The video shows the SARS operatives, BBI Team and Maxwell at GRA Police station. Pictures shows Maxwell at the ATM.
