Shockwaves are reverberating across Yorùbáland and the global Yorùbá diaspora following the sudden death of the Baba Ọba (King’s Father) of the famed Oyotunji African Village in South Carolina, USA. Recall that a Nigerian lady called Susan accused the singer of putting her in the family way and denying paternity of the pregnancy.
Susan and her sister were seen in a viral video calling out the singer and demanding that he accepts responsibility for his actions.
Shortly after the video hit the internet, Davido reacted, denying his knowledge of the women and threatening to sue. Things soon quickly came to a head when the singer promised whoever found the ladies N1 million.
Quickly, Susan and Helen did another video, noting that they were just playing a prank on Davido. But despite the women’s retraction of their former statement, the singer insisted on making sure that they go to jail for false accusations.
A Nigerian pilot called Odira is now begging the singer to make sure that he fulfills his promise of sending the woman to jail. According to him, the father of three should make sure that the women visit Ikoyi prison.
He told the singer to do it for men who have also been falsely accused. Odira noted that Davido’s action would be his contributions towards putting an end to false accusations.
