The late Baba Ọba, Lukman Arohunfale, a revered socialite and traditionalist, passed away under circumstances already sparking fierce controversy. Two band members of popular Ibadan-born Fuji Musician, Taye Adebisi, popularly known as Taye Currency, has reportedly absconded in Canada. According to sources, the band members are Kanu Elegbe and a drummer called Alula. You will recall that Currency travelled out of Nigeria
on Monday, October 30, with his band members on a musical tour. It has not yet been confirmed whether the Fuji artist have taken any legal steps against the absconded band boys. Efforts to reach the spokesperson of the musician, Tope Eluyefa, proved abortive as at the time of filing this report.
