10 Nigerian yahoo boys arrested in Ghana lailasnewsThe Ghanaian Police has arrested 10 Nigerians suspected to be internet fraudsters a.k.a.yahoo boys Local media reported that the Ghanaian Police in Kwabenya, arrested all the suspects in a house at Ashongman Estate, Accra.Suspected Internet fraudsters arrested include; Diamond Andy, 22, Benson Romeo, 20, Randy Samuel, 25, Kelvin Agho, 23, Osas Igbo, 21, David Okondu, 23, Praise Onyekwena, 22, Ohis David, 25, Duru Wisdom, 22 and Uyi Ighodaro, 24.
The operation leader DSP James Aseidu, District Commander of Kwabenya Police Station, who disclosed that the suspects had set up computers in a room, further revealed that six internet modems, 54 different SIM cards, 9 laptops and 5 mobile phones were recovered from them.
Speaking on the arrests of the suspects on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 around 2pm, Greater Accra Regional Police Commander, DCOP George Alex Mensah, said;
“The suspects are often not seen during the day and often move out at night everyday to have fun with friends.
Police also discovered that the suspects do not work but lead lavish lifestyles in the area. This prompted the police to raid the said house to arrest the suspects”.
This is coming after we reported that 22 Nigerian yahoo boys(internet fraudsters), were arrested by the Ghanaian Police at their hideout at Oyarifa in Accra.
It was also gathered that the driver of the Nigerian yahoo boys, believed to be an accomplice was also arrested.
The Ghanaian Police who told newsmen that they are processing the suspects for court, said the suspects will be repatriated in coming days which they believe is in the right direction to reduce the level of crime in the country.
Also in past months, a suspected cyber crime syndicate was busted by the Achimota Mile 7 Police in Accra. In all, 29 suspects, all Nigerians, were arrested in an early morning swoop in a house at Alhaji Tabora in Accra. .

Retrieved from the suspects were 34 laptops and 48 mobile phones they allegedly used in committing crimes.
