LASEMA Operatives at the scene of the collapsed building in Agege, Lagos. A distressed storey building suffered partial collapse at the backside, killing two females, the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) has said. The General Manager of LASEMA, Mr Adesina Tiamiyu said in a statement on Saturday in Lagos, that the agency received a distress call via its emergency toll-free number on Saturday, March 31, 2018, at about 10.48 a.m. Tiamiyu said that the distress call was concerning a building at 9 Abeje Street, Markaz, Agege, which collapsed.

Three heroic school  children aged 12, 13 and 14 saved a man who had a rope around his neck and was trying to jump off of a bridge  . The boys were on their way back from school at the time and they saved the man’s life while he stood on the edge of an A10 overpass in Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire. Devonte Cafferkey, 13, and Sammy Farah, 14, rushed to grab the man and persuade him not jump while their friend Shawn Young, who was 12 at the time, called for help. Police in the south of Thailand on Tuesday, March 27, announced the arrest of five people in the murder of Krabi municipal engineer Montree Upla or "Tik", 57, in February. Montree was shot dead on the Thung Yai to Lamthap road in Nakorn Sri Thammarat on February 21st. The National Emergency Management Agency ( NEMA ) has confirmed the death of three suicide bombers at Muna area of Maiduguri in an attempt to infiltrate the town on Friday. Four powerful explosions occurred between 9: 00 and 9: 30 pm, sending terrifying echoes to many parts of the town. NEMA’s Northeast Zonal Coordinator,  Bashir Garga , who confirmed the incident, said that the blast occurred outside the town.   Garga disclosed that the suicide bombers detonated Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) strapped to their bodies behind the security trench at Muna Garage area on the outskirts of Maiduguri. He said that terrifying echoes by the explosions caused some residents of the area to flee which made them sustain injuries.  Garga added that the wounded were referred to hospital for treatment in Maiduguri.   “Details on the incident is still sketchy. The United States government is proposing to collect social media identities from nearly everyone who seeks US Visa, according to a new  State Department  filing.   The proposal which is a broad expansion of the information gathered from applicants for U.S. visas, if approved by the  Office of Management and Budget  (OMB), would require most immigrant and non-immigrant visa applicants to list all social media identities they have used in the past five years.
