King Onwa, an Austria-based Nigerian artiste, was punished by the youth of Awo-omamma in Imo state after he spoke disrespectfully about their king.
The musician insulted the king and the Amukamara royal family on social media and when he returned home on vacation, the youth of the community shamed him in public, beat
him up, and had his dreads cut.
Onwa earlier revealed in a video posted to Facebook that people have been warning him not to return to the community, else, he will be punished, but he paid no mind to the warnings and traveled to Awo-omamma in Imo state. As soon as the youths heard of his return, they made good on their threats and dealt with him
