See the two notorious thieves/rapists nabbed and stripped naked in Ijagun, Ogun State

Two suspected thieves that have been terrorizing residents of Ijagun Town, Ogun State were apprehended on May 25.

According to Oluwasanmi Adedamola, the suspects usually storm different female hostels to steal laptops, phones, clothes and other valuables at gunpoint. They are alleged to have raped some students during the attacks.

It was yesterday evening around Akobo in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nollywood actress Bewaji Folashade, is thankful to God as she saw her own life flash right before her eyes. 

The actress had gone to a movie location and while returning, she took a bike not knowing they were kidnappers.  As soon as she noticed something funny, they asked her to cooperate and the rode on. 

But a very smart her decided to fight back, knowing once they got to their destination she will be helpless. So as soon as they got somewhere where she noticed people might hear when she screams, she decided to fight them.

They all fell from the machine and she kept screaming. Luckily for her, some people heard her ran out and that’s how the kidnappers fled.  See more photos below….

Shocking! Watch video of physiotherapist manhandling a special needs child in Nigeria

The horrific video which was shared on Youtube shows a physiotherapist manhandling a little girl with cerebral palsy. The video was captured on CCTV and shared by a Nigeria based NGO, Diary of a Special needs Mom Initiative.

The video which is about 19 minutes long shows the caregiver slapping, hitting and twisting the hand of the child several times.

At a point, she even used her cellphone to slap the child, tied her hands at her back and consistently pushed the little girl. The little girl fell down from her seat more than five times in the video and every time the physiotherapist picked her up, she hit the girl. She was more concerned with pressing her phone than giving the little girl any attention.

Omg! Woman Parks Car To Use ATM In Lagos, Kidnapper Enters & Drives Off With Child & Grandma

This kidnapper was caught in Gbagada, Lagos, on Tuesday when he tried to kidnapped a baby and the baby's Grandma.

An eyewitness said, "The mother of the little baby just parked, left the Granny and baby in the car so she could use a nearby ATM.

"She left the car engine on and before she returned the kidnapper entered the car and drove off...

"Thank God for this soldier guy that just chased him down with a motorbike and it was really rough. The car somersaulted and the baby and grandma were both rescued with little injuries."

The kidnapper has been handed over to the Police.

Upadte! Manchester Mosques Refuse To Bury Suicide Bomber's Body

Councils and funeral directors have refused to deal with Salman Abedi's body as it emerged his corpse is currently being kept at a morgue outside Manchester.

Sources have said authorities will do 'everything in their power' to stop him being buried, cremated or laid to rest in the city.

The move comes just weeks after councils across the UK refused to deal with the remains of the Moors Murderer Ian Brady, who had wanted his ashes to be scattered in his home city of Glasgow.

A source told the Manchester Evening News: 'Just like Ian Brady, every effort is going in to making sure that there is not a chance Abedi can be buried or cremated in Greater Manchester.

Abedi's family cannot receive his body as his parents Ramadan and Samia as well as younger brother Hashem, 20, are in Libya.

His father and younger brother are still in detention in the country. Detectives said Hashem had links to ISIS and was planning to carry out a terror attack in Tripoli. His elder brother, Ismail, 24, remains in custody in Manchester. 

Presidency Replies Fayose For Calling For Buhari’s Resignation

The Presidential Adviser on Political Matters, Babafemi Ojudu, has chastised Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, over his call for the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari. He said the governor by his tirade against the president was portraying Ekiti in bad light. Mr. Fayose  called for the resignation of the president on grounds of his ill health.

‎”He can do us the great help by resigning. Not resigning bothers on his integrity. ‎ His absence allows others to suppress and oppress others and that means he is allowing others ‎to suppress their fellow human beings,” Mr. Fayose said.

“There are many governments in one and they are clueless. ‎ We need an active president going by our numerous challenges. ‎How long will Nigerians wait for an incapacitated president‎?


“We cannot wait again for somebody to hold us to ransom. ‎I don’t have any bad blood against Buhari, Osinbajo has no powers without the president. He owes us the duty to tell us the state ‎of his health.”

President Buhari has been in London for medical treatment for an undisclosed illness for about three weeks.

In his reaction, Mr. Ojudu described Mr. Fayose’s comments as disrespectful of a man old enough to be his father.

He wondered why Mr. Fayose would call for the president’s resignation at a time all Nigerians are praying for him.

“He (Fayose) has been quarrelling with everybody. Even in Ekiti, he is demolishing filling stations belonging to the opposition,” Mr. Ojudu, a former senator from Ekiti, stated.

“He has always been insulting the president and disparaging a man old enough to be his father.

“He is portraying Ekiti in a bad light. We are not like that. Is he the only governor, why is it that he is the only one making so much noise?”

Mr. Ojudu said Mr. Fayose had failed in governance, plunging his people into hardship and poverty.

“Right now, fuel is not being sold in Ekiti because he is busy demolishing filling stations under one guise of the other,” he continued.

“People are buying fuel from neighbouring states. People are suffering, they are tired of his ways.

“Go and tell him to concentrate on governance and to stop insulting the president.”

Australia to deny passports to over 20,000 convicted paedophiles

The Australian Government has revealed that convicted paedophiles would be denied passports in a bid to protect children from being abused outside its country.

The proposal, under a "world-first" plan proposed by the government, will be introduced to the parliament soon and would prohibit registered sex offenders from traveling overseas.

BBC report that the Justice Minister Michael Keenan said it would affect about 20,000 offenders who had completed punishments but remained under monitoring by authorities.

'Sex offenders would be able to apply for passports if they were no longer on the register. No country has ever taken such decisive and strong action to stop its citizens from going overseas, often to vulnerable countries, to abuse kids,' Mr. Keenan said.

He described child sex tourism as an "absolutely abhorrent crime".

According to the Australian government, about 3,200 sex offenders would never be eligible for passports because they were being monitored for life.

The proposal was reached with independent Senator Derryn Hinch, long time campaigner for tougher laws to deal with sex offenders.

Mr. Hinch told reporters on Tuesday that the proposal would protect children.

'You go to Bali, you go to Phnom Penh, you go to Siem Reap, and you see these middle-aged Australian men there, Caucasian men, with a young local kid - they are not there to get a suntan,' He said.

The action comes after an Australian man identified as  Robert Andrew Fiddes Ellis was in 2016 convicted of sexually abusing 11 girls in Indonesia and jailed for 15 years.

Arsene Wenger agrees to a new two-year contract with Arsenal

This is clearly not the kind of news alot of fans want to hear but Arsenal boss, Arsene Wenger has agreed to a new two-year contract, extending his 21-year reign at the club.   Wenger and club owner Stan Kroenke met on Monday to determine the Frenchman's future, with the decision relayed to directors at a board meeting today.
Arsenal are planning to make an official announcement today.

The Gunners were fifth in the Premier League this season, the first time they have finished outside the top four since the Frenchman joined in 1996. 

Nigerian Midwife who allegedly swapped newborn baby with a dead one in Ogun state caught by police

This reportedly happened at a hospital in Ifo, Ogun state. A midwife is being accused of exchanging a newborn baby with a dead one, and has refused to own up to her actions even after the Police and community elders got involved. A friend of the new mother cried out via Instagram, narrating what happened. She wrote;

"My family friend delivered her baby by around 5pm. The mother in law was asked to go home to get cloths. When she returned with her son the doctor/midwife had left the hospital immediately after her delivery ask informed them by d two nurses on ground. The nurses wouldn't account for d whereabout of d newly born.  

The husband raised alarm. Community chairman, elders with the youth went to Ifo police, visited the place of delivery and only found the placenta and only one of d room was locked. The midwife was spoken with around 10pm after several calls and she admitted d baby was fine and alive. 

"The search team left the place around 11.30pm after waiting for d midwife who didn't show up. The next morning 28th, they went back to that police station, that was when i was contacted. Then the woman was around there. We all went back to d hospital and in one of the rooms already searched, a dead baby was found which she claimed have been in d building all thru 27th. She said d baby was dead at birth. 

"The locked room was opened and money of different denominations were found she also has d building construction going on behind the clinic. The elders within her community claimed she came back to d clinic by 1am and showed them the dead baby. D DCO Ifo said while he and his team searched d clinic no baby was found. The dead body have been taken to mortuary for autopsy, the wicked must not go unpunished."

Nigerian man declared wanted in Egypt for human trafficking

Police in Cairo, Egypt have declared wanted a 35-year-old Nigerian man, Dennis Abayomi Isemede, in connection with investigations into an alleged case of conspiracy to commit felonies and misdemeanors, trafficking adult persons for the purpose of committing a criminal offense, a fake marriage, counterfeiting and fake document circulation.

Police has called on the citizen with useful information that can help locate him to contact the anti-trafficking office at 22-808950, any police station.

A man was yesterday evening stripped n3ked at Ayobo when he allegedly stole a standing fan from a church. The young man who had walked in confidently and thought no one saw him had already carried the item, before a man raised alarm.
