See The Teenage Prostitute Who Was Used for S ex by Dozens of Police Officers

A teenage prostitute has has been given compensation after she was used for s*x by as many as dozens of policemen.
Jasmin Abuslin, a teenage prostitute who slept with ‘dozens’ of police officers when she was 16 has been given a $989,000 (£770,000) payout.
According to Metro UK, Jasmin Abuslin, a police dispatcher’s daughter, said she had sex with around 24 officers while working as a prostitute called Celeste Gaup.
She said that many of them had paid for sex in the city of Oakland, California.
When she threatened to expose one officer, Brendan O’Brien, he took his own life. However, she shared information about her encounters and that led to several officers lost their jobs from various law enforcement agencies.
She took the case to court demanding a $66million (£52million) payout, but the court awarded her a fraction of that.
Rebecca Caplan, Oakland councilwoman, said: ‘It is time to pay the settlement agreement to let this young woman get on with her life and her healing, but also for Oakland to step up and change the culture in the police department and change how we recruit and train our officers.’
The case came to light in 2015 following officer O’Brien’s suicide after he left a note saying that others were involved.
Officers paid for a hotel room for Abuslin – who no longer works as a prostitute – to work out of, acting out pimps and telling her what she should wear.
They also told her where police were monitoring prostitutes so that she could avoid them and one officer had sex with her in his patrol car.
Her lawyer, John Burris, described her treatment as being similar to ‘modern day slavery.’
He added: ‘The settlement occurred with no admission of liability, but obviously if you pay $1million, you figure you got some responsibility.’
Dan Black, Brian Bunton, Ricardo Perez, Warit Utappa, Tyrell Smith, Leroy Johnson, Giovani LoVerde have all been charged over the allegations.
Police chiefs Shan Whent, Ben Fairow and Paul Figueroa all quit over the scandal.

Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham Speaks On Taking Drugs

Related Posts Plugin for WordPress, Blogger...

She had a sit-down interview with Broadway TV and here’s what they said about her before publishing the video. Truly it will be her year of second chance. Damn, she’s gone through a lot. Enjoy!

If a modern biblical story of a second chance is to be written from Nollywood, the story of Toyin Abraham will take top spot. Toyin’s name has been dragged through all available mud a celeb’s name should not be dragged through yet she survived.

To start with, she was seen as a razz actress, a brand with no credibility and to add double icing to the cake, Toyin had a nasty marriage break up and got entangled in a messy affair with controversial filmmaker (who was later caught for alleged theft and is currently in prison).

Toyin’s inglorious journey of self destruction assumed a national proportion when she did not manage the aftermath of the project Mayowa, a charitable course, she championed to raise money for a cancer patient. Internet and general public weighed heavily against Toyin.

According to her, she almost killed herself, she became depressed, she took to drugs, started losing brink of reality and for those who were close to Toyin as at that time, it was almost as if the end has come but life had a different plan for the Edo State born actress who grew up in Ibadan. She changed her team, changed some of her friends and most importantly; she changed some habits, one of which was taking drugs to escape the pain of the moment.

Not long afterwards, the effect of the new decision began to show, Toyin got a role in Okafor’s Law and for the first time, she became a box office actress. According to sources, Okafor’s Law has gone on to make 100million in the cinema. She has top 6 movies coming out in 2017. It was just as if God made 2017 for Toyin. Not only that, Toyin has worked with two multinational companies in the space of two weeks as brand influencer and to add icing to the cake, her latest movie Alakada Reloaded has become the biggest movie of 2017 within days of release.

It was a gaily Toyin that walked into Broadway TV office shortly after she received the report of Alakada all over Nigeria for the weekend. After much persuasion, she agreed for an interview and the tone quickly changed when she began to cry and acknowledged that God is truly giving her a second chance. She admitted that she is not yet there but constantly working and disciplining herself not to go back to her old ways. With heart full of gratitude to God and her fans popularly called Toyin Titans,

Toyin Abraham says she is not taking anything for granted.

Update! Kemi Olunloyo Speaks From Prison, Blame Court Registrar For Her Continuous Stay In Prison

Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo, a social media enthusiast and daughter of a former governor of Old Oyo State, Omololu Olunloyo, has accused the chief registrar attached to the Port Harcourt Division of the Federal High Court of sitting on her case in order to keep her perpetually behind bars, despite having allegedly met her bail conditions.

But Maimunat Folami, the Deputy Chief Registrar, strongly denied the allegations, stating that her office had cooperated fully with Ms. Omololu-Olunloyo’s counsel to ensure proper vetting of her bail documents.

“We have done everything that we’re supposed to do,” Ms. Folami said. “This allegation is very strange.”

Ms. Omololu-Olunloyo spoke inside Port Harcourt Prison, where she had been remanded since her initial arraignment in mid-March for alleged criminal defamation against a Port-Harcourt-based preacher, David Ibiyeomie.

Speaking with Premium Times inside the office of the Comptroller of Prisons in Rivers State, Ifeanyi Amaliri, last week, Ms. Omololu-Olunloyo stated that her lawyers had satisfied all bail requirements set by H.I.O. Shamah, a federal judge who granted her bail on April 11.

She said she had strong indications to believe the deputy chief registrar was sitting on her case on alleged orders of some powerful interests. But the court registrar said the accused’s bail paperwork was still being perfected by her lawyers, with whom she said she had been in constant touch with.

“I have to do all the works of ensuring that all the documents are put in place,” Ms. Folami said.

“Even if the documents are put in place, we still have to conduct certain investigations, like verifying the addresses of the sureties to be sure they are who they say they are.”

Ms. Folami also said Ms. Omololu-Olunloyo’s case file was taken away the last time her matter was heard on May 23. Although the judge was absent, the case file was not returned to her office, causing further delay in working out the final details of Ms. Omololu-Olunloyo’s release.

Peter Nkanga, the West Africa representative of the U.S.-based Committee to Protect Journalists, condemned Ms. Omololu-Olunloyo’s continued incarceration for over 78 days and counting, despite all bail conditions met since May 11, including signing an undertaking not to jump bail.

“It is an outrage that the judiciary can be taking over three weeks and counting to verify Ms. Omololu-Olunloyo’s bail requirements, at the expense of her freedom,” Mr. Nkanga told Premium Times.

Fatai Lawal of Afe Babalola Chambers, which is representing Ms. Omololu-Olunloyo, spoke to Premium Times but declined to blame the registrar for the challenges faced in perfecting his client’s bail requirements.

“We’re confident about her possible release this week,” he said.

A team of police officers first arrested Ms. Omololu-Olunloyo in Ibadan on March 13.

On June 1, 2017 the EFCC secured the conviction of Marcellinus Akochi Ezeoke before Justice Lawal Wada of the Kano State High Court on a one count charge of obtaining by false pretence.

The convict was arraigned on November 25, 2015 and pleaded not guilty to the charge. In the course of the trial, prosecution counsel Douglas I.
Gift called two witnesses and presented several exhibits to prove the case against the convict.  The convict fraudulently obtained the sum of N1,010,000 (One Million, Ten Thousand Naira Only) from the complainant by falsely claiming that he was a car dealer based in Cotonou, Benin Republic.

Based on that, the complainant sent him the said sum for the purchase of a Peugeot 406 but the convict failed to deliver the vehicle and became incommunicado.  In his judgment today, Justice Wada held that the prosecution had established the case against the convict beyond reasonable doubt and convicted him on count 2 of the charge.

Before the sentence, the convict pleaded for mercy. Consequently, Justice Wada sentenced him to two years imprisonment with the option of N50,000 fine. The convict was also ordered to restitute the sum of N1,000,000 (One Million Naira ) to the court.
