APC Suggests Fayose bribed Pastor Adeboye for prayer?

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A Adeboye on Saturday, visited the palace of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, Oba Rufus Adejugbe, during a tour of the State as part of the Church’s ‘Let’s Go A Fishing’ programme.

During the visit, Pastor Adeboye prayed for Governor Fayose and commended him for his boldness and courage in defence of his people.

Below is how the APC reacted to Pastor Adeboye's action:

Ekiti State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in a statement signed by chairman of the party, Jide Awe, said that the party was alarmed that a cleric of Adeboye’s standing could praise Governor Fayose inspite of his persistent insults and abuses on President Muhammadu Buhari.
The statement added that Adeboye’s comment should be seen as his personal opinion, and not that of the Redeemed Church.
Awe added that the fact that Adeboye made the statement during the period when Christ’s birth is celebrated is to say the least, preposterous
He warned that Adeboye should be careful of Fayose, who he (Awe) said could bribe even an angel of God to endorse the devil.

Wife gets angry after she met her husband with another lady, strips herself ...photo

What a funny way to protest against your husband's action...lolz. Revellers at a popular pub in Rongo area of Nairobi, Kenya were left in shock after a woman stripped in the glare of the public eye.

What was her reason for going that far? Another woman.

According to report, the wife drinks too much. She was already intoxicated at the time of the incident, when she heard that her husband was relaxing somewhere with a lady.
She stormed the pub where he was hanging out and went crazy on him by dropping her own clothes, because her husband refused to answer her while she was talking.
I guess the woman was being controlled by the alcohol she took. Her action didn't make any sense.

Tragic! 92 passengers in Russian plane dies after a crash

A very "strange" Christmas it was. All 92 passengers onboard a Russian military plane have been confirmed dead after the aircraft crashed into the Black Sea on Sunday - Christmas day.

Remains of the victims were said to have been recovered.

According to the BBC, the Tu-154 was said to be conveying soldiers, reporters and 64 members of the famed Alexandrov military music ensemble who were to perform for Russian troops.

The flight had originated in Moscow and landed at Adler airport in Sochi for refuelling.

The plane was said to have disappeared from the radar two minutes after taking off from Sochi at 05.25 (02.25 GMT), heading for Latakia in Syria.

An audio recording played on Russian media and said to be the final conversation between air traffic controllers and the pilot reveals no sign of any difficulties being faced by the crew.

Voices remain calm until the plane disappears and the controllers try in vain to re-establish contact.

Reports from the area said flying conditions were favourable.

President Vladimir Putin had said Monday would be a day of national mourning.

Ministry spokesman, Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov, said, “No survivors have been spotted.”

Konashenkov said the plane was last serviced in September and had undergone more substantial repairs in December 2014. It had an “experienced” pilot.

President Putin has ordered a state commission to look into the crash and sent his condolences to the families and friends of the victims.

Among those on board was a popular woman, Elizaveta Glinka, known as Dr. Liza, the executive director of the Fair Aid charity and the inaugural winner of Russia’s state prize for achievements in human rights.

Nigerian Pastor went to his own church disguised as a Destitute and members snub him ...photo

Today it's all about shine shine, looking fine at all cost, people forgetting that they would die at any moment and they don't know what happens thereafter. Sigh!

On Christmas day, Pastor Lawrence Onochie, senior pastor of the King's Heritage church, showed up at his own church's Christmas service in a disguised form and no one even consider saying "hi".

Read the story as shared by the church online:
Today’s service was very memorable. Pastor Lawrence was seated in the congregation dressed as a nonentity/beggar and no one recognized him. People went about greeting others and no one went in his direction – because of the way he was dressed.
At some point during the service, a call was made to the congregation to invite someone they didn't know to spend Christmas with them at home. Again, no one went in his direction to invite him - no one wanted to identify with him.
When he came up stage and revealed his identity, the congregation was amazed! That's the world we live in [today]. We relate to those we feel are in the same social class as us and despise the needy.
That's not what Christmas/Christianity is about. It is about caring for those in need, strangers, the despised. Christianity/Christmas is all about LOVE
With a heavy heart, Pastor admonished us to have a change of heart towards the needy and down-trodden and focus on what really matters to God – LOVE!
People matter to God, let people also matter to you too.
John 3:16 – For God so LOVED the world that He GAVE … Christianity is a life of endless giving and scarifices. Your life is not about you. Your destiny is not about you alone. There are so many people/so much tied to your destiny. Your destiny is about God using you to bless others!
If you have been looking down on people who are seemingly not on the same social class as you or you have been guilty of despising the needy, God is giving you another chance.
Ask yourself what God would do? Will God despise you when you are hungry, when you need shelter, when you are lonely, when you are sick? The obvious answer is NO!
Stop to help a stranger, put a smile on someone's face. Talk to that lonely brother/sister. Pass on items you no longer use to the needy.
Christianity is walking the talk.

He shared his personal Christmas message to Nigerians via social media. Read below
Dear Compatriots,
I heartily rejoice with all Nigerians, particularly our Christian brothers and sisters, on this year's celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ.
As we celebrate this year’s Christmas, I believe that it is very appropriate for us to reflect on the love of God aptly espoused in the teachings and lifestyle of Jesus Christ.
During his earthly sojourn, Jesus Christ repeatedly reminded his disciples and followers of peace that comes in the midst of trials and tribulations on earth.
There is no better time than now in our nation’s history to pray for divine guidance to get over our current challenges.
We can have peace in Nigeria if we all learn to tolerate and appreciate one another, respect constituted authority; and be our brothers’ keepers in word and deed.
During this period, we should remember to offer special prayers to God for all our heroic citizens who paid the supreme price to restore peace and security in the North East and other flash points in the country. Let us also remember in our prayers the security forces in the frontline in the continuing battle to rid our nation of terrorism and violence.
We must not forget the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in our midst and those who have suffered untold hardship as a result of activities of insurgents and terrorists.
Our immediate priority is to alleviate the poverty of Nigerians by quickly stimulating the economy. I assure Nigerians that our government is doing its best to make life easier for all.
Let us therefore, renew our hope in the God-ordained unity, progress and prosperity of our great nation.
I wish all travellers safe movements and a memorable holiday as we celebrate with our family and friends.

See two fuel tankers who struggled to overtake each other collide and spill content in Lagos ...photo

What could have been a major tragedy was on Saturday, December 24th, averted by the combined efforts of the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) and the Lagos State Fire Service when a tanker fully loaded with 33,000 litres of PMS fell on the Anthony Bridge Inward Gbagada.

According to an eyewitness account, the incident which occurred at about midnight on Saturday was as a result of two trucks struggling to overtake each other collided, leaving the fuel tanker fallen on its side while the other one sped away.

General Manager of LASEMA, Mr. Adesina Tiamiyu who confirmed the incident, said that at about 12:15am, a call came at the agency’s call centre to alert about the accident.

"We discovered that the fuel in the tanker was leaking heavily from the three compartments and men of the Lagos State Fire Service were on ground to blanket the fuel with chemicals and foam to reduce the level of combustible capacity to explode. We traced the path of the leaking fuel into the compound of Greensprings Schools in Anthony and thus also run through the underground gutters emptying this into the Obanikoro canal.

"The Fire Services pumped massive chemicals in its path to diffuse the powers of the fuel and LASEMA and other Emergency Response Team went into the neighbourhood to evacuate people and asking everybody to stop all forms of cooking and took them to safety," he said.

The LASEMA GM said it took us over eight hours to bring the situation under control. Tiamiyu said the State Governor, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode at about 3am, came to the scene to see things for himself and gave instructions to LASEMA, who coordinated the rescue efforts to ensure the situation is handled diligently and carefully to ensure no fire incident is recorded.

He said LASEMA brought in its heavy duty equipments from the newly commissioned Lagos Response Unit (LRU) in Cappa Oshodi including The Crane "Charlie" and other support equipment to finally lift up the truck from its fallen position and it was towed to safety by another Heavy duty tow truck known as "Super Metro".

He said after the recovery of the truck off the scene, the Fire Service poured foam and chemicals on the road to wash off the fuel within the driving vicinity, flushed the gutters from inside the Greensprings Schools and at about 7.50am,the road, on both sides were open for free vehicular movement.
"We were able to achieve this feat because LASEMA has the equipment and the capacity including a team of other Responders like the Fire Service, Rapid Response Squad, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) and the Lagos State Ambulance Service (LASAMBUS) who all cooperated to ensure a hitch free operation," he said.

Omg! Policeman who killed colleague, shot six people at Zenith bank, Zaria beaten to death by angry mob ...photo

A mobile policeman attached to the Zenith Bank, Zaria on December 23, killed his colleague and shot six people who were on ATM queue, including a student of the Umaru Musa Yar'Adua University.

According to an eyewitness, argument ensued between both policemen over access into the banking hall. The policeman that was shot had attempted to enter while the one on duty tried to stop him.

They started exchanging harsh words. Suddenly, the policeman on duty pulled his gun and shot the other officer. He then started shooting sporadically killing a student instantly. Below is an eyewitness account by Oluwaloniglory OmoJesu, who confirmed that two others were confirmed dead at the hospital:

"I was there when it all went down but fear no let me carry phone dey snap the event. It all started like this....
I woke up early this morning, made my way to the bank, Manchester road precisely where GTBank was situated, I got there, there was no money at the ATM machine, infact I went round the whole Zaria non of the banks ATM machines was loaded with money (like say na plan work).
I got to diamond bank round about, made my way up to zenith bank, I got there but the crowd there was something else, so as I was about leaving, two of the mopols guiding the bank were arguing then one of them asked the other to hand over his rifle to him if not he will shoot him, like play like play, the guy cocked his rifle, his name was Ayuba Hamisu while the other one was Joshua Matthew both of them were Sergeants and attached to Mopol 47 squadron Zaria, so Joshua handed over his rifle to Ayuba knowing fully well that Ayuba has already cocked his rifle and anything can happen, while the rest mopols were just looking in amazement, the next thing I heard was, lie down, at this moment I knew something terrible was about to happen.

So I left the premises of the bank, kick starts my vehicle and drove off immediately, suddenly it was not up to 30seconds I heard a gun shot, people started running for their dear lives, I parked my car to know what was going on, then I looked down to zenith bank, two people were already on the ground dead including Joshua the other Mopol man that was lying on the ground before I left the bank.
The next thing I saw, was an Okada man dropped dead from his Okada, at that period I knew war has started, as I was trying to get the clear picture of what really transpired to that ugly event, I saw the Ayuba with two AK47s shooting rapidly chanting Allah Uhakubar as you can see from the picture.

I quickly hid myself with others in one of the shops at PZ bustop, immediately news got to Zaria Area command who mobilized men to the scene before they could got there one of the mopols had already shot Ayuba in both legs, he couldn't get up again with the rifles fell off his hands and I saw mobs gathered and started hitting him with so many objects they could lay their hands on.
police later dispersed the crowd, took Ayuba to hospital together with Joshua who was already dead before getting to hospital and three other persons who they later confirmed dead on arrival due to multiple gun shots.

They said Ayuba later gave up due to serious beating by the mobs and loss of blood. For this Christmas, I thank my God say my head no follow join oooo, make Una help me thank God oooo. the incident was so terrible."

This is the photos of Joshua Matthew shot by his colleague, Ayuba, in Zaria
