King Sunny Ade visits the Awujale of Ijebuland after his rumoured death – The juju music maestro was rumoured dead on Monday, May 2
KSA will be 70 in September .
Despite his rumoured death, juju music maestro King Sunny Ade continued with his laid out programmes. The veteran juju musician was said to have slumped and died while performing on stage on Monday, May 2, 2016.
In his reaction to the rumour, KSA’s close associate and manager Clement Ige said: “KSA was in Ibadan on Monday and will also grace an appointment with the Awujale of Ijebuland, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona on Tuesday. I urge the people and the entire Nigerians not to panic and disregard the rumour. KSA is in good health and full of life.
” True to Ige’s words, KSA was with the Awujale of Ijebuland Oba Sikiru Adetona in his Ijebu Ode palace. the juju king and Ijebu king were pictured while in a deep talk.
King Sunny Ade and Awujale of Ijebuland Oba Sikiru Adetona KSA will turn 70 on September 22 and activities are being put together towards the grand event.
On Tuesday, January 19 KSA alongside other Ondo state born entertainers were mentioned as cultural ambassadors of the Sunshine state.
