Update! FG promises to pay the protesting Super Falcons players in two days

Nigeria's National Women's Football Team, Super Falcons, today staged a protest in front of the National Assembly over their unpaid allowances. They have been at loggerheads with NFF and the Ministry of Sports over their unpaid allowances after they won the 2016 African Women Cup of Nations some weeks ago. (Read here)

President Buhari's Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, has now reassured the protesting players that monies owed to them would be paid in two days time.
