FG begins screening of all inbound passengers into Nigeria

Following the recent re-discovery of Ebola virus in the Democratic Republic of Congo DRC, the Federal government has begun the screening of all inbound passengers into Nigeria at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport Lagos and other International Airports in Nigeria.

This is in a bid to avoid the importation of the deadly virus into the country. Recall that in 2014, many Nigerians lost their life in the Ebola epidemic that was caused by a Liberian man, Patrick Sawyer who came into the country with the disease from Liberia.

See more photos from the screening of passengers at MMIA today May 15th.
