More than 72 hours after she was declared missing, the body of Mrs Rachel Ayanwale has been discovered lifeless along Awe-Iwo road area of AFIJIO local government area of Oyo State. 51-year old staff of the Federal School of Surveying, FSS, Oyo, had driven herself out on Thursday 11th April, 2019, after allegedly receiving a call from a yet-to-be identified man. However, it was gathered that the police have moved into action.
The husband, Surveyor Sunday Ayanwale, who was arrested few days before the body of the deceased was found on Sunday, 14th April, 2019, is still being held by the police, for questioning.
Ayanwale, was said to have allegedly ‘showed up’ after his second wife, who is pregnant, was arrested.
Mr Olugbenga Fadeyi, who is the Oyo State Police Public Relations Officer confirmed the incident but said he was going to get back when asked about the husband’s detention.
