THE Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Adetunji, Aje Ogungunniso 1, yesterday described the late Olowo of Owo, Oba Folagbade Olateru-Olagbegi, as a great man, even in death.
In a statement issued by his Personal Assistant/Director of Media and Public Affairs, Mr. Adeola Oloko, the monarch said the demise of the Olowo was very painful and difficult to bear.
The first class monarch noted that the death of the first class traditional ruler came as a rude shock to him.
The Olubadan, however, noted that he lived an exemplary life worthy of emulation.
