Alleged Sexual Misconduct: Reps Summon 3 Accused Lawmakers, US Ambassador
The United States’ Ambassador to Nigeria, James Entwistle, alongside the three Nigerian lawmakers accused of sexual misconduct, have been summoned by the House of Representatives joint committee on Ethics and Privileges and Foreign Affairs.

Senator Dino Melaye, the lawmaker representing Kogi West senatorial district, has finally admitted to using abusive and threatening words at Senator Oluremi Tinubu, the senator representing Lagos central, during the senate’s closed-door session on Tuesday.
Melaye, however, said he was willing to apologise if he had wronged any individual in the matter.

Burundi Crisis: Ex-Minister, Hafsa Mossi, Shot Dead In Bujumbura
A former Burundi minister for East African Community (EAC) affairs, Hafsa Mossi, has been shot dead by unknown gunmen outside her home in Bujumbura.
Mossi, who was an MP in the East African parliament and a former BBC Swahili service journalist, was shot dead in the capital Bujumbura on Wednesday, police said.
