Kano state governor, Umar Ganduje, on Saturday offered automatic scholarship to an indigene of the state, Fa’iza Sani Abubakar, for her excellent performance in the just released Senior Secondary School WAEC examinations.
Fa’iza, who hails from Bakin Zuwo in Kano, scored distinctions (A 1), in all 9 subjects she sat for, at Olumawu College, Wuse 2, Abuja. Governor Ganduje explained that the scholarship is meant to cover her undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate degrees, at any university of her choice across the world.
Already, she has been offered admission by at least seven universities in the United Kingdom and one university in Egypt, to study.
