Legendary Musician, King Sunny Ade's much loved guitar was auctioned for N52.1million last night

King Sunny Ade had one of his electric guitars auctioned for a whooping N52.1 million. This happened last night at the ‘Sunny on Sunday‘ musical festival celebrating the iconic legend at 70, which held at the Federal Palace Hotel in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The guitar which is a Fender brand string piece was designed by Nigerian artist Victor Ehikamenor. The auction started at a bid of N9 million before an undisclosed individual scooped it up for N52.1m
