Chelsea Beat Arsenal 3-1

Chelsea put at least a finger on the Premier League title on Saturday after victory over Arsenal saw them go 12 points ahead of their nearest rivals.

Marcos Alonso was given the benefit of the doubt from referee Martin Atkinson as he opened the scoring for Chelsea after 13 minutes, injuring Hector Bellerin with a flailing elbow in the process.

But any doubt about the legitimacy of Chelsea's lead was put to bed early in the second-half as the Belgian sensation Eden Hazard scored a wonderful solo goal to double their lead.

Cesc Fabregas, playing against his former club, took advantage of a Petr Cech mistake to score against his former club, capping a good day for Chelsea and the end of Arsenal's title hopes.
