Man charged after woman attacked with brick in Ardwick
A man has been charged with grievous bodily harm after a woman was attacked with a brick in Ardwick .
Nathan Derbyshire, 28, of Kingscliffe Street, Moston, was charged with Section 18 GBH with intent, police have confirmed.
He is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Friday morning.
A woman reportedly suffered serious head and arm injuries after she was
attacked with a brick on a residential street on Tuesday evening.
Police were called at 7pm to Cotter Street, Ardwick to reports the woman had been attacked following a confrontation with a man.
She was allegedly hit on the head and arm with a brick, before the suspect fled from the scene.
The woman was conscious and breathing, but was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
