Music Legend, 2Face Idibia who hails from Benue state has visited an internally displaced persons’ camp in Makurdi, his hometown today, 5th September. The singer and his wife Annie Idibia arrived at the camp in the morning and donated items to thousands of families who have been displaced because of the flood.
The ‘African Queen’ Crooner is scheduled to perform under the Benue Flood Relief Initiative.
There are presently 110,000 families in the IDP camp who have taken shelter there after the heavy rainfall two weeks ago. The torrential downpour created a huge flood and destroyed a lot of properties.
