Elder Manuel Is New Baba Aladura

His Most Eminence Elder (Dr) David Bob Manuel (Moses Orimolade IX) is the new Baba Aladura.

He is the Prelate of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim.

Speaking yesterday at his induction and thanksgiving service at Mount Zion National Headquarters in Surulere, Lagos, Manuel in his sermon urged Clerics to be good shepherds to their sheep.

According to him, “A good shepherd must protect and guide the sheep to a good pasture because sheep needs somebody to lead them.”

He added that Shepherds must honour God, show kindness, serve the people and preach salvation.

He warned the gathering to follow God, noting that; “When you follow God, you would find eternal life and safety but, when you do not follow God you would meet eternal death.”

He said they must be a true follower of Jesus Christ, saying, “To be a follower of Jesus Christ, you must live a holy life because God is holy. You must be willing to care for and serve one another just as Jesus Christ did. Teachers of the gospel and all christians must serve just as Jesus came to the world to serve others. Let your neighbours and all those around you see the life of christ in you so that you would attract others into the kingdom,” he said.
