Thursday 31st August, the crème de la crème of the media and music industries gathered for the listening party of Ibejii, the soulful lover man. Ibejii who was widely unknown until the late August release of not one but two albums entertained media giants with fine wine, hors d’oeuvres and tastefully curated music from both albums GreenWhiteDope 001 and GreenWhiteDope 002.
The eclectic music maestro arrived in company of 6 doppelgängers and introduced the music loving audience to his great sound as he took them on a journey of discovery through both albums. Ibejii also presented the video of Ojo as well as Kirakita and Alejo.
Among the A-list audience were Classic FM’s Shullzz, Beat FM’s Osi Suave and music editor of Pulse Nigeria, Joey Akan. This listening party experience is one that will linger long in the minds of all attendees with the exotic ambience created by Ibejii’s sound and his enigmatic appeal.
