Watch man get crushed to death while trying to secure his property from damage in Hurricane Irma

So far, Hurricane Irma has killed 9 people since it hit the eastern Caribbean on Wednesday, battering parts of the Dominican Republic and Haiti. 

Videos and photos coming out of the affected location show the extent of the damage and one of them is quite graphic. It shows a man trying to secure his van as the strong wind caused it to sway. The man eventually lost to the wind and the vehicle tumbled, crushing the man beneath it.

The incident occurred on the Caribbean island of St Maarten. Watch the disturbing video below..
