Charlene said she had drunk glasses of wine and smoked a cigarette during the previous nine months. Thankfully, the baby was born healthy and her older children were shocked to find her with a baby when they woke. She added: "The noise woke up our older girls and they came downstairs to unlock the door. Sophie just gasped and said, 'Mummy, have you had a baby?' They were shocked – but then so were we."
