Gunmen suspected to be assassins have killed a politician and businessman Moses Banka, from Sanga Local Government Area of Kaduna State. According to reports, the gunmen killed the politician at his residence in Ankwa village of Jema’a Local Government Area in the state on Wednesday night January 31st. After gaining entrance into his house, the gunmen went straight into his bedroom where they shot him dead and then left the house without hurting any other person or stealing any property.
The deceased was until his death a prominent farmer and owned an irrigation farm at Dogon Daji Reserve close to Godogodo where he farmed hectares of soya beans.
The state police says they are investigating the matter and would soon bring the culprits to book.
