Man raped by two men in horrific late night attack

A man was raped by two men while sitting on a bench in a Milton Keynes park at night and police are hunting two men in relation to the attack.

The assault happened at 11pm in Campbell Park on the night of Thursday, February

15th. The man, who is in his twenties, was sitting alone when he was approached by the pair. One of the men is said to have grabbed him and forced him to the floor before the second man carried out a serious sexual assault on him. Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses concerning the assault

Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Inspector Jason Simpson, of Force CID based at Milton Keynes said: "We are carrying out a thorough investigation into this very concerning incident. As a result of this incident members of the public will see an increased police presence in the area, including neighborhood patrols."

He added: "We would ask anyone with concerns to speak to one of our officers. We would ask anyone with information that could assist us to please call Thames Valley Police on 101 quoting reference 98 16/2/18."

One of the attackers is described as a black man, around 5ft 10 ins tall and of stocky build. He was wearing a hooded top with the hood up. The second man is described as a black man, about 6ft 1ins to 6ft 2ins tall and of medium build. He was wearing a grey hooded top, a white buttoned shirt and black suit trousers.
