University of Maiduguriwas was attacked by Boko Haram again

A teenage Boko Haram suicide bomber last night detonated a bomb close to one of the hostels in the University of Maiduguri, Borno state. The 13 year old suicide bomber was however the only victim of the attack.

Boko Haram has carried out series of attacks in the school. In January 2017, the sect struck in the university killing four people, including an infant and a professor. Since then as much as five attacks have been recorded in the institution. As many as 70 lecturers of the institution have resigned since the school began to witness attacks from the sect.
