The Kano State Hisbah Board, a Sharia police board, today exonerated two ladies previously accused of being lesbian partners.
A resident of the state had petitioned the board with the wrong allegation that the ladies were engaging in lesbianism.
After much investigations, the allegations were found to be false and the charges against them was dropped. The board announced the exoneration of the ladies this evening on its Facebook page.
