Senators of the competing party on the platform of the Opposition Peoples Democratic Party hails the defection of the ruling party All Progressive Congress National Assembly members to their party.
Thirty-two APC senators had defected to the opposition PDP on Tuesday, with another four to the ADC.
Senators that left the APC to PDP: Sen. Tejuosho Sen. Shaaba Sen. Barnabas Gemade Sen. Melaye. Sen. Shittu Sen. Rafiu Sen. Shitu Ubali Sen. Isa Misau Sen. Hunkuyi Sen. Monsurat Sen. Danbaba Sen. Nafada Sen. Nazif Sen. Kwankwaso.
With the move, APC has now become the minority in the upper chamber.
