An Ibadan based popular Nigerian OAP Akinkunmi Alabi, reportedly lost his 20-year-old son who before his death was a student of Adeleke University, Ede, Osun State.The 20-year-old rapper, Hammed aka H-Ranking, died in his sleep on Saturday, September, 29, 2018, days after his birthday.
The late boy’s father, Akinkunmi Alabi made headlines few years ago after he disclosed that he would have become a medical doctor if he wasn’t a broadcaster.
“I would have gone to the university to read medicine and would have been a medical doctor because I love caring for the people”, he stated.
Speaking on how he felt as he celebrates 25 years as a broadcaster, a sense of total and deep happiness was visible on his face. “I am quite elated, I thank God for His Mercies. It is not by my power, it is a special privilege and divine support. It is not by talents, it is presence of divine grace.”
