Controversial TV personality and self-claimed queen of comedy, Afia Schwarzenegger has said any woman that pays her bride price is the husband.The comedienne sometime ago revealed that she paid her own bride price and single-handily footed the bills of her wedding to estranged ex-husband, Abrokwah.Their marriage was however short-lived as it came to a scandalous end when Afia Schwarzenegger was caught in bed with another man in their matrimonial bed.
According to her, anyone who has done what she did in the past or is doing it should know that the man would refuse to be the husband of the house and her, the woman would take the position of the husband since she paid the bride price.
She posted a picture of hers and captioned it ;”Dear Men,
If your woman gives you money to pay her bride price like I did…
You are NOT her husband but her wife!!!!
Stop looking for respect where u cant find it.
Good day!!!! ”
This just brings to memory the case of controversial Nigerian actress Tonto Dikeh who also claimed she paid her bride price when she got wedded to her former husband Olakunle Churchill.
She also claimed she footed the entire bill for the wedding ceremony.
